Victoria J, better known as Vjay, is an Androgynous model from Chicago Illinois. She brings a strong and intense performance to the world of modeling. As her mission states she is determined to diversify the face of modeling. Vjay has been a part of many exciting projects such as posing for the calendar “Hard Candy” produced by Jennifer Griffin, modeling for the clothing line “MAJLEO” created by one of Chicago’s own Melanie Gales, as well as taking part in the iLive fashion show campaign where all proceeds went to Breast and Prostate Cancer.

In 2011 she was the first Androgynous model to walk the “FUZE IT WORLDWIDE” stage and she also won the Top Androgynous Model award in the Fashion show competition “Taking over the Runway”. Her passion and drive continues to propel her into many creative directions in the modeling world. You can see her in two of producer Blake Martin’s humanitarian campaigns, “NOH8” and “Stop the Bullying”.  Vjay continues to add edge to the runway experience with the likes of companies such as Blake Martin Productions and Beau Ideal. Vjay is proving to be one of Chicago’s up and coming Androgynous Models.

Vjay has also taken part in another all-Male fashion show: “BLACK ICE” as well as an “All-female showcase: From Russia with Love”, where she was the first and only androgynous model to rock to the stage. 2013 has been an amazing year for Vjay. As she continues to stay true to her mission of diversifying the face of modeling she recently just booked a top spot in the historic 1st Men’s fashion Week for Chicago. Out of 162 models she was one of 52 chosen to represent Male fashion in Chicago. Oct 26th Vjay wrapped up the iconic show Terra Nova! This show included models from Atlanta, Detroit, New York, and Chicago. As 2014 rolls in Chicago excitedly awaits what’s next for Vjay.
